Big Thunder Mountain

We stayed for a bit in Westernland as it was too early for us to ride Big Thunder Mountain and our feet were already complaining. Mavis and Xiane bought a smoked sausage which Xiane almost finished by herself. I’m also not sure if where we got our new batch of Popcorn but we munched on them before Mavis tried the Westernland Shootin’ Gallery beside Big Thunder Mountain. Sadly, she didn’t get to win anything. We still had loads of time and the cold was getting unbearable so we decided to go to the Country Bear Theater just to get in somewhere warm. It didn’t have a waiting time so we marched gladly inside. They were performing the seasonal “Jingle Bell Jamboree”. It might have been the dimly lit area or our tiredness or both, but Mavis and I felt sleepy while the animatronic bears render their songs. Xiane enjoyed the show though a lot was in Japanese. We only had to wait 5 more minutes before we got in line for the Big Thunder Mountain.

Big Thunder Mountain is definitely our favorite ride in Disneyland and we got to ride it again the next time we went. Of course, don’t expect this to be a Fujikyu-type Roller Coaster ride but for us, it has enough thrills in it to satisfy. We wanted to ride it again but the standby time was another 40 minutes and there were no Fast Passes left so we headed back to the World Bazaar to catch the Disney’s Electric Parade Dreamlights. By the way, photos below are from the morning of another day.
